Place for Breast Care

The Woman’s Place for Breast Care provides a comfortable, patient-focused environment for women seeking mammography, breast ultrasound, and other related services—all in the convenient setting of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas. We are accredited by the American College of Radiology.

Getting a Mammogram with Us

All on-site mammography performed at The Woman’s Place is done with full-field digital units that employ computer-aided detection software. While other hospitals feel MammoPads should cost a patient extra, we feel that all women deserve a softer, warmer mammography experience, so we provide them standard. With similar thoughtfulness, we provide you with warm robes, and our waiting areas offer coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and a light snack.

When making an appointment with us, you’ll find that we can almost always schedule you to come in sooner than other facilities. Screening mammograms can often be booked as soon as the next day.

In addition to our mammography services at our main campus, Woman's offers mammography services at our Kingwood and Pearland satellite clinics.  Via our mobile breast center, we can even provide mammography service to our satellite clinics in Angleton, Clear Lake and Willowbrook.

Other Services We Offer:

  • Diagnostic ultrasound
  • Bone densitometry (DEXA)
  • Breast cyst aspirations
  • Core biopsies utilizing stereotactic*, ultrasound or MRI guidance
  • Needle localizations
  • Breast MRI

* Our Hologic MultiCare Platinum system offers the latest advances in stereotactic technology with a design that provides enhanced patient comfort.
