We are pleased to offer an online education option as an alternative for those who cannot attend a conventional childbirth or breastfeeding class due to bed rest, scheduling conflicts, travel or time constraints. These interactive, web-based programs include animated illustrations, videos, voice-overs and games. You will receive a book and will have access to the program for eight weeks from first login. A childbirth educator and lactation consultant will be available to answer your questions by email or phone.
Online Childbirth Class:
This online program covers pregnancy discomforts, labor support techniques, the process of labor and birth, pain medications, cesarean birth and postpartum changes, as well as some basics of breastfeeding and newborn care. You will receive a companion book by mail.

This course covers the basics of how your body produces and releases milk, how to get the baby properly positioned at breast, how to know if your baby is getting enough and how to pump and store your breast milk.
