Newest Houstonians Featured on 4th of July Card to U.S. Troops Overseas
Houston, Texas, June 30, 2011—For 35 years The Woman’s Hospital of Texas has specialized exclusively in the care of women and babies. Founded in 1976, during America’s bicentennial year, The Woman’s Hospital has welcomed nearly 200,000 babies into the world and delivers nearly 10,000 new Americans annually—the most in Houston. This year, we invite you to join us in a special celebration as we honor our service men and women with patriotic postcards featuring photographs of our babies wrapped in red, white and blue. Postcards will be signed the week of July 4th by hospital employees, physicians, volunteers, visitors and patients. The cards will then be mailed to troops overseas with many of the cards being sent to relatives and loved ones of Woman’s Hospital employees who are serving their country.
