Houston’s Center Of Excellence: Continence Care in Women
The Center Of Excellence: Continence Care In Women at the Woman’s Hospital of Texas offers surgical and non-surgical treatments for pelvic floor conditions. Such conditions include urinary or fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fistulae and other complications from childbirth. These conditions are common in women and cause a significant burden if left untreated.
Woman’s is only the sixth hospital in the country, and the only one west of the Mississippi, to earn a Center of Excellence designation in the care of patients with incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse by the National Association for Continence.
Our Center of Excellence focuses on restoring quality of life to its patients and is staffed by board certified physicians associated with Houston's Center OF Excellence: Continence Care in Women.
Why choose treatment at a Center of Excellence?
To earn a Center of Excellence (COE) designation, a hospital must prove it has the highest standards of training, clinical experience, resources and patient satisfaction statistics. These facilities are considered to deliver the best outcomes and highest patient satisfaction. Every three years, the hospital must renew its status to make certain services and patient satisfaction is maintained.
