The Woman's Hospital of Texas Announces The Release of Busby Quintuplets

Houston, TX --The Woman’s Hospital of Texas CEO Ashley McClellan announces the release of the Busby quintuplets. Parker Kate was released from The Woman’s Hospital of Texas on Friday, June 5th followed by Hazel Grace on Tuesday, June 9th, and plans are underway to release Olivia Marie, Ava Lane, and Riley Paige within the next week. 

Parker Kate and Hazel Grace will be available for a photo opportunity with their parents, Danielle and Adam Busby, big sister Blayke and Neonatologist Dr. Jerry Gee II at a press conference on Friday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m. in Classrooms A&B of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas.

“We are extremely blessed and excited to have two of our princesses home and look forward to having all of our girls together in the near future,” said Adam and Danielle Busby.

“The Woman’s Hospital of Texas has earned the reputation of successfully treating high-risk moms and delivering multiples, while providing support for each mom’s journey to parenthood.  Last year, The Woman’s Hospital of Texas delivered 318 sets of twins and 16 sets of triplets,” said Ashley McClellan, The Woman’s Hospital of Texas CEO.  

The Woman’s Hospital of Texas NICU Medical Director Dr. Jayne Finkowski-Rivera reported that the babies are doing well and are growing fast. The babies’ current weights are listed below.

Ava Lane Busby - 5 pounds, 9.4 ounces

Hazel Grace Busby - 4 pounds, 13.1 ounces

Olivia Marie Busby - 5 pounds, 9.9 ounces

Parker Kate Busby - 5 pounds, 12 ounces

Riley Paige Busby - 5 pounds, 4.5 ounces

Danielle delivered the five girls by C-section at 28 weeks and 2 days at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas on April 8th.
