Houston, TX – Jeanna Bamburg, FACHE, CEO of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas has been named one of “Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2022” by Houston Woman Magazine.

Since 2008, Houston Woman Magazine has published an annual, keepsake edition featuring Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women of the Year. Each of the honorees was nominated for inclusion on the “50 Women” list by a reader of Houston Woman Magazine and then selected by the staff of the publication.
Bamburg is an inspirational healthcare executive with over 30 years of hospital experience. She is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified Healthcare Trustee by Texas Healthcare Trustees.

Bamburg has been recognized as one of Houston’s Most Admired CEOs, Women Who Mean Business and one of Houston’s Breakthrough Women. Her mentoring focus is to develop the next generation of female leaders and she has helped numerous women elevate to executive positions.
Along with her work in healthcare, Bamburg serves on several boards and has significant experience leading local fundraising campaigns, organizing committees and mentoring initiatives for several organizations. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Houston’s Alley Theatre, a Tony Award-winning theatre and one of America’s leading non-profit theatres. She is on the Board of Directors for the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the American Cancer Society Houston Chapter. Bamburg is also proud to serve as the 2023 March of Dimes March for Babies Houston Chairperson for the second year in a row and has continued the tradition of Houston’s event landing in the nation’s top spot for both walkers and funds raised.
Bamburg has an MBA from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. She was elected in 2020 to a three-year term as Southeast Texas Regent for American College of Healthcare Executives, an international professional society of more than 48,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals and healthcare entities. She is a former member of the Texas Healthcare Trustees Board of Directors, a subsidiary of the Texas Hospital Association.
Committed to professional development, Bamburg is a graduate of the Texas Hospital Association Leadership Fellows Program, the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Women on Board and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Executive and Continuing Professional Education’s Women on Boards.
A celebration dinner, attended by the honorees and their invited guests, was held on Thursday, March 23 at the Junior League of Houston. The ballroom was filled, with more than 330 attendees including past honorees and several elected officials.
