The Woman’s Hospital of Texas and Dr. Juan Carlos Medrano helped parents Claudia Aguilar and Jorge Espinoza welcome their twins, Ezequiel Octavius and Divia Elaine into the world at 5:55 and 5:56 a.m. The twins are the first babies born at Woman’s in 2013. Ezequiel weighs 4 lbs., 10 oz. and is 17 inches long, while Divia weighs 4 lbs., 14 oz. and is 17 ¼ inches long.

The Woman’s Hospital of Texas Welcomes Its Record-Breaking Baby Number 10,000

For the first time in The Woman’s Hospital of Texas history, the hospital delivered 10,000 babies in one year. Becky and Chris Kiser welcomed their daughter Moriah into the world at 1:08 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28. Moriah weighs seven pounds, six ounces and is 20.25 inches long.

“Santa’s Helper” Brings Cheer to Those Who Can’t Be Home for the Holidays Lindsay Camden, 6, spread holiday cheer to the Antepartum Unit (APU) at the Woman’s Hospital of Texas this holiday season. The adorable first grader delivered handmade holiday cards and stuffed animals to the hospital’s APU patients on Saturday, Dec. 22.
