In The Community

We are proud to support our community through fundraising and professional involvement. Some of our current projects include:

  • Houston Area Women's Center
Year after year, we proudly support the Race Against Violence competitive and family 5K Run & Walk. The Houston Area Women’s Center provides shelter and support services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and empowers woment to advance their roles, their rights and their well-being.

  • Junior League
Annually we collaborate with the local Junior League organization to provide educational opportunities for ladies to learn how to better care for themselves and babies. The Association of Junior Leagues International Inc. (AJLI) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

  • March of Dimes
Our relationship with March of Dimes provides an opportunity to support March for Babies, Best Dressed Luncheon, Nurse Professional Education, Houston Chef’s Event and the much anticipated Annual Labor Day Luncheon & Style Show. The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates work together to give all babies a fighting chance against the threats to their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birthweight.
