Accreditations and Affiliations
The Woman's Hospital of Texas is accredited by: The Joint Commission; The American College of Radiology for mammography and ultrasound; MQSA (FDA) for mammography and the College of American Pathologists certification for laboratory services.
The Woman's Hospital of Texas is affiliated with the Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas OB/GYN programs and provides training for medical residents of the program (although training is provided, residents, fellows and medical students do not provide care for your baby here at Woman's. Every infant is personally cared for by a board certified physician). Woman's is also a clinical training site for several schools of nursing including: Texas Women's University–BSN program; Houston Baptist University–BSN program; College of the Mainland–ADN program; Wharton College –ADN program; Lee College – ADN program; San Jacinto College – AND program and The University of Texas Medical Branch and UT Health Science Center Houston – graduate and practitioner studies.
